I've included a few shots of my quilting buddies for you:
Abbigael, my English Springer Spaniel, loves to sit and watch while I
sew. Mind you she usually gets tired of watching the needle go up and down so is normally asleep within minutes.
Abbie came with me from Canada in May of 2004. She has been a constant companion
and like most best friends....never complains and gives unending unconditional love. She will be turning seven
years old in May of 2009.
Abbie's best friend and constant annoyance is Molly. She's mainly
an outdoor cat, but has never missed breakfast, lunch and tea when her favourite Whiskers pouch is opened. With the
weather as cold and damp as it is, she has been seen to take up more than her fair share of time on the far end of the
couch.
We're not too sure how old Molly is, as she decided to just drop in one day and made
up her mind to stay awhile. She is now a much loved member of the family.
And last but not least....this is Spudette. Don't laugh, I know
the name is odd, but it truely wasn't my idea, just ask my partner, Terry. Molly would like to make Spudette her best
friend...well...lets not go there.
Spudette has been in our garden now for months and will come and chat
sitting within inches of where you're standing. That's how I managed to get such a lovely photo of her. Such a
friendly little thing and pretty too.
So very sorry.....I don't have a picture of Spudette's best friend....the
Earth Worm. I think my little Robin made a fast meal of that one.
